We have now been living on this beautiful island for 4 months and I still can’t speak much Spanish. Everyone wants to practise their English!
I try and make time to study everyday but I am not making much progress past the basics, such as “how are you?” and “Hola!”
So rubbish, really need to find a way to engage more….
Finally sold our house, so here we go….!!
First things first we need to sell all the rubbish we have accumulated over the years before the sale goes through!
Then we need to find somewhere to live in Mallorca. Hubby wants to go North Island near Pollensa but it may be too far to travel to the International schools – maybe we should send the kids to a local school?
So we’ve booked a flight to visit Mallorca with our two children (both 8 years old) for next week to visit a few International and local schools and speak to estate agents, accountants, language schools (so we can learn some Spanish) etc.
Hopefully we will get some answers to the many questions we have whizzing around in our heads and then we can make some final decisions about our move to Mallorca!
